Hi, I'm Alison, and I make stuff. I Could Make That is a log of my crafty life. Welcome!

Speaking of patterns, I found this insane Russian pattern website called Lekala yesterday. So many patterns! They’ve even got some free samples to send you if you enter your measurements in centimeters.

The site’s a little hard to understand, especially the credit system (which I haven’t tried yet). Fortunately, Melissa of Fehr Trade has an awesome step-by-step guide for how to use the site and how to order patterns. It may seem pretty risky to order patterns from a Russian website that isn’t easy to understand, but they use PayPal, so I imagine it’s safe. I’m not going to order any until I make one or two of the samples first, to make sure I like how they fit. For now, here’s a roundup of some of my favorite patterns from the site.
